The field team worked on several key initiatives during the last week of August:
- Updating the FOP family database by tracing families not yet included in patient groups.
- Preparing an email directory of orthopedic doctors who attended the Bengaluru conference, ensuring they receive the FOP newsletter.
- Coordinating appointments for patients from Nagpur, Chennai, and Nepal.
- Meeting with the Lions Club officials in Vellore, who agreed to partner on awareness programs for 2025–2026.
These actions show how fieldwork goes beyond individual care—building networks that strengthen early diagnosis, referrals, and community awareness.
