FOP Awareness Expands — Training Program Held for Police Personnel

Beyond medical coordination, this week also supported public awareness and sensitization.

👮‍♂️ A special FOP Awareness Training Program for Police Personnel was conducted during their in-service training session.

The session covered:

• What is FOP?
• Why misdiagnosis and wrong injection can cause permanent disability
• How to identify flare-up symptoms
• First response protocol during emergencies
• Importance of protecting children from unnecessary injury during physical training

The participation and interest from officers reinforced that awareness beyond the medical community is equally important in preventing avoidable harm.
