Patient registries have become a cornerstone of FOP research. These databases record key details about patients’ health journeys — from diagnosis and flare-ups to medication history — allowing researchers to design better trials and treatments.
In India, the FOP Trust Database is updated regularly through consultations at Amara Hospital, led by Dr. Vrisha Madhuri.
During the week of October 6–11, several patients’ data — including CAJIS scores and treatment responses — were added to the national record.
Accurate documentation not only improves clinical care but also fuels global research, bringing us closer to effective therapies.
Takeaway:
Good data today means stronger science tomorrow.
By keeping patient data accurate and accessible, we help drive global FOP research forward.
